Republican Party Do The Needful
Posted by Michael in Marine Veteran Blog, tags: America, blackwell, conservatism, Conservative, george mason, george washington, gingrich, james madison, republic, republican, steele, Thomas JeffersonThe needs of the Republican party include Michael Steele resigning as GOP Chairman.
Michael Steele is a pro-affirmative action, pro-assault weapons ban Progressive Republican. He needs to do the right thing for the party and let Co-Chairman Ken Blackwell take the reigns of the Party.
Has everyone forgotten that the Progressive Steele went after Rush Limbaugh? Include Newt Gingrinch for endorsing the Republican in the 23rd District in New York. The same Republican that endorsed the Democrat candidate after dropping out.
Newt Gingrich was part of Hillary Care and he’s bought into Al Gore’s Climate Change Hoax.
This is the only way that the Republican party will survive with this Grass Roots Freedom Loving Conservative movement.
As a 912er myself, I have no problem voting 3rd party for a person I think best represents my values and principles.
During the last election I looked at each person’s platform. I looked at what they said and how they voted. Since actions speak volumes over words. It was easy to figure out who the Conservatives were and who the Progressives were.
We need to be vigilant on how we select the candidates in our state elections and the next Presidential election.
Don’t buy the allegiance to party line, do your homework on the candidate that best lines up with your values and principles, then after you’re certain. Get the word out about that candidate.
As long as the internet still exists, along with door to door grass roots movements, we can get this country back on track to what the Founding Fathers had intended. For me it’s specifically 4 founders that I follow. Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Washington, and George Mason.
All 4 men were extraordinary with their vision on how a republican form of government is to be.
George Washington ended the importation of slaves with the Northwest Ordinance.
Thomas Jefferson paid down the debt by 22 Million, this includes aiding in the Lewis and Clark Northwest Expedition, the Barbary War of 1801, and the Louisiana Purchase. Not to mention Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence and other great things he did with the state of Virginia.
James Madison the Father of our Constitution, wrote most of the Constitution and worked on the Federalist papers. Any questions about the General Welfare Clause see Federalist Paper # 41.
George Mason was responsible for the Virginia Bill of Rights and refused to sign the Constitution because it didn’t include a Bill of Rights.
Jefferson and Madison were 50 years apart but were probably the closest friends of any of them and they thought the same way when it came to just about everything. Including the banning of importation of slaves and the attempts to end slavery.
Jefferson, Madison, and Mason were responsible for writing Virginia’s State Constitution and Jefferson virtually rewrote every Virginia law himself.
Remember, when Washington, Jefferson, and Madison were elected. It wasn’t because they belonged to a specific party. It was because they were men of their words.
